Job summary

LHH is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability for a large fleet of heavy mobile equipment supporting critical production operations. This onsite role focuses on maximizing uptime, safety, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, leadership in an industrial setting, and strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy equipment repair.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
• Proactive leader who drives continuous improvement and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities for a fleet of heavy mobile equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage repairs, rebuilds, and vendor service relationships.
• Supervise and develop maintenance technicians in a unionized environment.
• Partner with operations leadership to support production goals and minimize downtime.
• Oversee maintenance inventory, budgeting, and KPIs.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
