Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization to fill a Maintenance Manager – Heavy Mobile Equipment role in the United States. You will lead a skilled maintenance team responsible for a large fleet of heavy mobile assets, driving reliability, safety, and uptime in a high-volume operation.

The role emphasizes leadership of a unionized team, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and collaboration with operations to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or advanced trade certification required.
• Proven maintenance leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with heavy mobile equipment and unionized workforces.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, diesel, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities for a diverse fleet of heavy mobile equipment.
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Drive reliability initiatives to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Manage major rebuilds, capital repairs, and vendor-supported projects.
• Ensure accurate maintenance documentation and CMMS recordkeeping.
