Carleton Equipment is seeking a High-Level Shop Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of heavy construction equipment. This is a full-time, on-site role with paid training for transitions from automotive to heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in heavy equipment or field service repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge: engines, powertrain, hydraulics, electrical.
• Experience in diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
• Welding and fabrication proficiency.
• Must have a complete set of professional tools.
• Familiar with Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete inspections of equipment and machinery.
• Remove, install, and replace parts and components.
• Implement optional accessories and aftermarket kits.
• Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Test equipment functionality post-repair or installation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong customer relationships.
