Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Shop Technician to maintain and repair a range of rental equipment. You will create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and diagnose issues by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models.

You’ll work with safety standards, use laptops/tablets, and participate in OEM training; the role includes lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional parts delivery. We value grit and teamwork in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade certificate preferred.
• Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders.
• Track machine service intervals and order parts.
• Diagnose issues using data from hundreds of makes and models.
• Maintain work orders and documentation daily.
• Assist in training lower level technicians.
• Assist with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts.
• Know OSHA requirements (preferred).
• Participate in OEM training.
