Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on heavy civil and infrastructure projects. You will ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to specification, directing crews, equipment, and subcontractors on-site.

This hands-on leader will coordinate with the Project Manager and engineers, enforce safety programs, read drawings, monitor quality and productivity, and drive on-time deliveries of materials and equipment to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field supervision experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of means and methods for structures, roadways, or utilities.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field crews, equipment, and subcontractors on-site.
• Coordinate daily work plans with the Project Manager and project engineers.
• Enforce jobsite safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Monitor productivity, quality control, and adherence to plans and specifications.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to keep work on schedule.
• Lead daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.
