Job summary

Metric Geo seeks an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on heavy civil infrastructure projects. You will lead field crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work is performed to plan, on schedule and to specification.

Responsibilities include enforcing OSHA safety programs, monitoring productivity and quality, and coordinating deliveries. A hands-on leader with 10+ years in heavy civil supervision is desired.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field supervision experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of means and methods for structures, roadways, or utilities.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field crews, equipment, and subcontractors on-site.
• Coordinate daily work plans with the Project Manager and project engineers.
• Enforce jobsite safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Monitor productivity, quality control, and adherence to plans and specifications.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to keep work on schedule.
• Lead daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.
