Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Superintendent to lead heavy civil construction projects across the Central US. You will supervise craft workers, coordinate with field engineers and subcontractors, and uphold safety and schedule performance on complex infrastructure projects.

Base compensation is $138,000–$144,000 per year with strong benefits and opportunities for growth. Travel to project sites is required; relocation assistance may be provided; this role emphasizes self-perform capabilities and adherence

Qualifications

• 7+ years in self-perform construction; 3+ years in supervision of heavy civil work.
• Degree in construction management preferred; if no degree, 10 years in construction experience.
• Knowledge of safety, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings; experience with InEight, P6, Bluebeam, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence for Heavy Civil infrastructure projects.
• Liaison between field engineering and craft to ensure compliance of drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Resolve employee conflicts and scheduling difficulties; assist in planning craft labor and material needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
