Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Superintendent with a strong background in heavy civil construction to oversee all project life cycles from planning to completion. The role requires budgeting, scheduling, safety leadership, and subcontractor coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, scheduling, safety management, and subcontractor management.
• Knowledge of construction processes, quality control measures, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and proactive issue resolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of construction project management, including coordination and completion on time, within budget, and within scope.
• Supervising all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specs, safety standards, and quality control.
• Developing comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and managing all construction processes.
• Preparing and managing project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring financial accountability.
• Implementing and overseeing safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and staff with clear communication.
• Resolving issues or delays impacting timelines, budgets, or quality of work.
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to plans.
