Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to lead heavy civil construction projects in Arkansas, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership, deep knowledge of site work, and a proven track record in managing large-scale initiatives.

The ideal candidate will oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project communications, while maintaining strict safety and quality standards and collaborating with stakeholders across the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction superintendent role.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, managing construction schedules, budgets, and ensuring that project deadlines are met.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• Develop and implement project strategies and plans, including risk management plans and communication plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure that all work is being carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process, liaising with project stakeholders as necessary.
• Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
