Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic, experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our team as we oversee projects across the Western U.S. You will lead on-site construction activities, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with architects and engineers, and ensure safety and quality standards are met from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in superintendent roles, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid background in budgeting, scheduling, contract management, blueprint

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent in construction.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, contract management, blueprint reading, and subcontractor oversight.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Certifications in construction safety or project management highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, specs, timelines, and safety codes.
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Oversee budgeting, contracts, and procurement for cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to interpret blueprints.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors to ensure quality and timelines.
• Ensure construction activities comply with building codes and regulations.
• Develop construction plans and manage changes as needed.
• Apply strong problem-solving to address issues during construction.
• Inspire a high-performing team and foster a collaborative work environment.
