Talently is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil construction to lead projects from bid through closeout in a hybrid role across Roanoke, VA, Charlotte, NC, or Ohio. You will coordinate with field teams, manage subcontractor and supplier quotes, and ensure safety, quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil PM, understands DOT/highway projects, and can handle invoicing, cost reporting, and change orders. Expect 50–55 hours/week with flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil or site work construction project management experience.
• Attained roadway/highway/utility/excavation/civil scopes.
• Bachelor's degree in CM or CE or equivalent.
• Estimating, quantity takeoffs, project controls and cost reporting knowledge.
• Ability to manage invoicing, payables/receivables, POs and subcontracts.
• Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Collaborative, self-directed approach and client relations.
• Willing to work 50–55 hours/week including evenings/weekends.
• Current TWIC card or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Prepare bids by reviewing plans, quantities, and quotes from subcontractors/suppliers.
• Manage projects from award to closeout including docs, setup, meetings and scheduling.
• Monitor field progress, daily reports, costs and resource plans with the general superintendent.
• Maintain current plans/specs, issue revisions, and support subcontractor coordination.
• Develop pricing for scope changes with approvals, time impacts, and claims.
• Represent the project team in client meetings and conduct site visits as needed.
• Oversee AR/AP, cost reporting, POs, subcontracts, and timely invoicing.
• Complete closeout activities and lead post-project reviews.
