Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects in Richmond. You will support planning, design interpretation, and coordination with teams to maintain the project schedule.

Preferred candidates hold a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 2+ years of experience; bridge background is a plus. Onsite work with a strong team culture and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
• 2+ years of construction engineering experience is required.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects.
• Manage project engineering personnel, assignments and related activities.
• Ensure compliance with company and contract requirements and support project schedule.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures and submittals/RFIs.
