Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Project Manager for heavy civil construction to lead mid-to-large scale projects across Southern Central states, with initial duties located in Ardmore, OK. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety while coordinating with senior leadership and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a engineering/CM background and 5–8 years of heavy civil design-build experience, with strong teamwork and attendance. Travel is required as projects span multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CM or related field or Minimum of 5 years comparable experience.
• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience with heavy civil design-build projects managing all aspects from design, approvals, procurement, construction, and implementation.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Ability to get along and work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Manage mid to large scale projects with moderate to high risk.
• Oversee multiple construction projects in varying stages of completion.
• Coordinate with Construction Operations Manager to align project performance with goals.
• Implement Corporate Safety Policy on all projects.
• Provide mentorship to Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Prepare budgets and cost tracking reports.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Plan, organize, and direct construction and maintenance activities.
• Review owner contracts and project estimates at design phases.
