Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction to oversee mid to large-scale projects across the Southern Central region, reporting to the Operations Manager.

You will plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities for construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems, including design-build, CM and hard bid work. Your initial assignment will be located in Ardmore, Oklahoma, with travel to projects, background check and drug screen required, and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CM or related field or minimum of 5 years comparable experience.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience with heavy civil design-build projects.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage mid to large scale projects with moderate to high risk.
• Oversee multiple projects in varying stages of completion.
• Coordinate with Construction Operations Manager to align performance with goals.
• Implement Corporate Safety Policy on all projects.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Prepare budget estimates and progress/cost tracking reports.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Plan, organize, and direct construction and maintenance activities.
• Review owner contracts and project estimates at design phases.
