Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a senior estimator to develop accurate proposals for private and public sector projects ranging from $50 million to $100 million. You will review drawings and site conditions, coordinate with field operations, and present estimates to senior management for bid decisions.

The role requires 10+ years in estimating with prior management experience, strong MS Office and estimating software skills, and the ability to travel for IP/JV bidding opportunities

Qualifications

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and estimating software.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
10+ years estimating experience with prior management experience.

Responsibilities

Develop accurate proposals and estimates for private/public sector projects from $50M to $100M.
Review drawings, specs and site conditions; incorporate field input into final estimate.
Lead bid reviews with senior management to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Develop relationships to increase bid opportunities in the regional market.
