Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a senior estimator to develop accurate and timely proposals for projects ranging from $50M to $100M. You will lead the estimating team, review drawings and site conditions, and present bids to senior management to ensure competitiveness and quality.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (or related) with 10+ years estimating experience and prior management experience. Proficiency with MS Office, AGTEK, Primavera, and estimating software is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience in civil/construction.
• 10+ years estimating experience.
• Prior management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and timely proposals and estimates for private and public sector works from $50 to $100 million.
• Review drawings, specs, and site conditions to inform estimates.
• Lead and mentor estimating staff to Granite standards.
• Present estimates and participate in bid reviews with senior management.
