In this position you will own estimates from plan review through final proposal, coordinating with project management, operations, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients while leveraging HCSS HeavyBid to build competitive

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of heavy civil estimating experience.
• Strong hands-on experience estimating earthwork and site development.
• Experience with projects in the $3M–$5M+ range is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret civil plans, specs, and bid documents.
• Proven ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs to develop complete estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, grading, and site prep.
• Create labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Develop turnkey bids and competitive proposals.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing and assess risk.
• Support bid reviews and project strategy discussions.
