Job summary

Boyd Corporation seeks a Heat Exchanger Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead design, deployment, and troubleshooting of liquid cooling heat exchanger solutions. You will bridge advanced thermal theory with manufacturing and lifecycle management, contributing to near-term and future R&D efforts.

Required is a Mechanical Engineering degree with 5–7+ years in heat exchange, exceptional written and verbal communication, and the ability to travel up to 50% (domestic/international).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineeringrequired.

• Exceptional technical writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, deployment, and troubleshooting of heat exchangers.
• Model thermal performance using CFD tools and thermodynamics.
• Determine optimal heat exchanger sizing based on fluid properties and flow rates.
• Select materials to prevent corrosion, erosion, and fouling.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, procurement and operations teams.
• Review proposals and assist in vendor qualification.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and safety protocols.
