Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Heat Exchanger Subject Matter Expert to lead design, optimization and troubleshooting of liquid cooling heat exchangers. The role blends advanced thermal theory with manufacturing and lifecycle management, with near term and future R&D engagement.

You will analyze heat transfer, model performance with CFD tools, select materials, and collaborate across engineering, quality, procurement and operations to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Exceptional technical writing and presentation skills.
• 5-7+ years of relevant Heat Exchange experience.
• Ability to travel 50% domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Understand industry landscape and product types, including performance, manufacturing methods and costs.
• Heat transfer analysis using advanced thermodynamics, validate system heat balances and DF calculations.
• Determine optimal heat exchanger sizing based on fluid properties and flow rates.
