Job summary

Boyd Corp seeks a Senior Project Engineer to blend design engineering with project management for liquid cooling systems used in data centers. You will work with a small team of engineers to move concepts through production while interfacing with customers as an SME.

The role requires hands-on expertise in mechanical design, pumps, heat exchangers, and sensors, with strong emphasis on delivering on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing mechanical pumping systems.
• 10+ years designing cooling systems with heat exchangers and fans, preferably in data centers.
• 3+ years leading new product development teams.
• Experience with PLM and Oracle Cloud MRP software; SolidWorks desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interface with design team and customers to develop product specifications and trade-off analyses.
• Design mechanical pumping and cooling system components, sensors, and BOMs.
• Create and verify mechanical schematics and product layouts.
• Develop and execute verification test plans and write engineering reports.
• Lead the product development team, manage schedules, and coordinate cross-functional work.
