Job summary

Humana is seeking a Director, Corporate Strategy to guide enterprise-wide strategic plans and M&A opportunities, reporting to the VP/AVP. You will lead cross-functional teams and present recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.

You will own project delivery, conduct market and financial analyses, translate insights into actionable initiatives, and shape growth and innovation across CenterWell, Insurance, Technology/IT, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in corporate strategy or related field.
• Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) with 5+ years in corporate strategy or related field.
• Healthcare industry experience with market dynamics and growth opportunities.
• Experience developing enterprise or business-unit strategy, roadmaps, prioritization.
• Ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience leading consulting-style strategy engagements from definition to execution.
• Advising and influencing senior executives, including presenting to leadership or Boards.
• Leading and developing high-performing teams, managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery from problem definition through analysis, recommendations, and execution.
• Serve as a strategic partner to specific businesses, shaping long-term strategy and growth.
• Lead teams of 3-5 associates in market/industry analysis and financial/qualitative analysis.
• Translate strategy into action by developing business cases and defining initiatives.
• Partner with Corporate Development on potential M&A and external partnerships.
• Manage key external relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Strengthen team capabilities and improve operating processes and tools.
