Job summary

Taylor Design in San Diego is seeking a Senior Healthcare Project Architect to lead technical quality on design teams for healthcare and science/tech projects. You will manage drawings, codes, coordination, and construction documents through QA/QC, working with project managers.

Key qualifications include a CA-registered architect with 10–14 years in professional practice, experience in healthcare or science/technology sectors, and proficiency in Revit and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• CA-registered Architect.
• 1014 years in a professional office setting.
• Experience in Health Care or Science & Technology is a strong plus.
• Strong Revit knowledge and MS Suite proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs the technical quality and clarity of architectural drawing sets.
• Lead coordination with Project Manager/Director and consultants.
• Ensure code compliance and constructability across healthcare/SCI projects.
• Define drawing strategy, setup sheet structure, and maintain documentation standards.
• Oversee QA/QC reviews and resolution of internal contradictions in documents.
• Provide construction administration support during project execution.
