Job summary

Taylor Design in San Diego seeks a Senior Healthcare Project Architect to lead technical quality of the design team and oversee drawing sets for healthcare and science & technology projects.

The role requires a California-registered architect with 10–14 years in a professional office, strong Revit and CSI MasterFormat skills, and a collaborative approach to project coordination under a hybrid remote model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Registered Architect in California.
• 10–14 years of experience in a professional architectural office.
• Experience in Health Care or Science and Technology is a strong plus.
• Experience with Revit and MS Office.
• Good working knowledge of CSI MasterFormat specifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical quality leader for the design team, ensuring clarity, completeness, coordination, and quality of the drawing set.
• Lead in architectural design, construction documents, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with Project Manager/Director across multiple projects or one large project through construction.
• Maintain independence while working closely with teammates on healthcare and/or S&T markets.
