Job summary

Taylor Design, a 100% employee-owned architectural firm, seeks a Healthcare Project Manager for our Sacramento office. You will lead projects through design and construction administration, coordinating clients, subconsultants, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field and 8–10 years of professional experience, with strong leadership and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related AEC field.
• 8–10 years of professional office experience.
• Proven history of leading a team and managing multiple projects.
• Ability to monitor, adjust and maintain scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Familiarity with multiple project delivery methods.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Health Care or Science/Technology projects is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Deltek, BST, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with oversight for team members in coordination with a Project Director.
• Establish a balanced approach for ensuring project profitability and thorough technical deliverables.
• Provide leadership at the project level, interacting with clients, staff, and consultants.
• Develop project budgets and timelines; manage proposals and contracts; monitor financial progress.
• Understand building systems and code/agency issues that may arise.
• Participate in resource allocation planning and forecasting.
• Support marketing activities including proposals and interviews.
