Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a Physician Practice Manager to lead administrative and operational functions across assigned practices. You will oversee staffing, budget, patient relations, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth patient flow and quality service.

The role requires 3+ years of managerial medical practice experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong MS Office skills, with a focus on improving office efficiency and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of progressive managerial experience in a medical practice.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with MS Office including Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of healthcare fiscal management and HR practices.
• Understanding of EMR and billing systems; familiarity with ICD-9/10 and CPT codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee goals and office procedures; implement improvements to workflow.
• Manage daily operations: staff scheduling, cash reconciliation, charge entry, controls.
• Collaborate with CBO to optimize A/R liquidation, minimize denials, issue refunds.
• Lead HR functions: interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations.
• Monitor budget/expenditures and prepare management reports.
• Assist strategic planning, resource allocation and new business opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, CLIA, Medi-Cal, DHS) and Meaningful Use.
