Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Senior Project Manager to independently manage complex, medium- to large-scale implementations from initiation through go-live and handoff. You will coordinate with client teams, IT, operations, and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

This role emphasizes governance, risk management, and clear stakeholder communication to achieve customer satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Five years of experience in project or program management and client-facing service delivery, with multi-project responsibilities.
• PMP certification is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Experience with process development, continuous improvement, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of Health Information Management in acute care, ambulatory, and clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Independently manage assigned projects and monitor progress.
• Portfolio Accountability: Ensure alignment with objectives, timelines, and success measures.
• Implementation Management: Lead large-scale implementations from initiation to handoff.
• Program Management: Coordinate programs with related projects for alignment and delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business teams, IT, clients, and vendors.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality deliverables through PM methodologies.
• Customer Partnership: Work with Operations and customers to support satisfaction and profitability.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify and manage risks, escalate when needed.
• Communication and Reporting: Run recurring meetings and provide status updates.
• Post-Implementation Support: Coordinate post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution.
