Job summary

CHS Career Site seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel – Acquisitions & Development to provide legal counsel and strategic guidance on a broad range of healthcare transactions and corporate matters. The role operates with a high degree of independence, leading complex transactions and partnering with business leaders to develop practical solutions that advance company objectives and manage legal risk.

The attorney will work with cross-functional teams, manage outside counsel, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Experience advising on complex corporate transactions in healthcare.
• Ability to lead transactions from structuring to closing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for non-legal audiences.

Responsibilities

• Leads acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other strategic arrangements for hospitals, health systems, and related entities.
• Manages lifecycle of transactions including due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams and outside counsel, overseeing work product and legal spend.
• Drafts and negotiates NDAs, LOIs, and definitive transaction documents.
• Advises leadership on legal, regulatory, governance, and commercial matters.
• Keeps abreast of laws/regulations affecting transactions and business initiatives.
