Community Health Systems seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel – Acquisitions & Development to provide legal counsel and strategic guidance on healthcare transactions and corporate matters. Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required; top academic credentials preferred.
• At least six years of relevant, progressively responsible legal experience.
• Experience advising on complex corporate transactions, preferably in healthcare.

Responsabilités

• Leads acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other strategic arrangements.
• Manages transactions through lifecycle: structuring, due diligence, negotiation, documentation, closing.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams and manages outside counsel and legal spend.
• Drafts and negotiates confidentiality agreements, LOIs, definitive agreements, and related documents.
• Advises leaders on legal, regulatory, governance and commercial matters.
• Researches laws and industry standards and communicates developments affecting transactions.
• Prioritizes competing matters and ensures timely completion and compliance.
• Performs other duties and maintains regular attendance.
