Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an experienced Business Relationship Manager to join the IT Business Relationship Management team. The BRM will align business and IT, foster open communication, and lead collaborative planning with senior stakeholders across IT Strategy, Finance, and Contracting.

Ideal candidates have 5-7 years in IT/healthcare relationship management, with health plan experience and strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience in IT, healthcare, or business relationship management.
• Health plan experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with senior IT/business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IT and business management are aligned through open communication and collaborative planning.
• Develop and manage key relationships with Senior Leadership, IT Strategy, IT PPM, Enterprise Architecture, Finance, and Contracting.
• Understand business needs, strategy, and IT cost implications; validate funding prior to IT work initiation.
• Bridge business and IT to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving forward.
