Job summary

Sentara Healthcare Inc is seeking a highly analytical Senior IT Analyst to support and enhance Health Plan and Case Management systems. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, Case Management leadership, and technical teams to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that improve operational efficiency and member outcomes.

The candidate will leverage SQL development, ETL, reporting, and Python skills to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Health Plan IT experience.
• Strong SQL queries, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Experience with ETL processes and SSIS.
• Knowledge of Case Management and Health Plan operations.
• Knowledge or experience with JIVA Care Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based solutions to support business operations and reporting needs.
• Design and support ETL processes and SSIS package development for data integration initiatives.
• Analyze business and clinical requirements to recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Case Management leadership and stakeholders to support workflows and operational improvements.
• Support application enhancements, testing, upgrades, and production support activities.
• Create and execute test plans, document results, and ensure quality delivery of system changes.
