Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead multiple high-impact Healthcare IT initiatives, delivering on time, within scope and budget. You will partner with executive, clinical, operational, and technical teams to plan, implement, and oversee initiatives that advance patient care through technology.

The role requires strong PMO governance, vendor management, and mentorship, with a hybrid work model and on-site travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, healthcare management or related field.
PMP certification required.
10+ years progressive PM experience, 8+ years in healthcare IT.
Experience managing large cross-functional initiatives involving EHR systems or enterprise infrastructure.
Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.
Strong communication and vendor management skills.

Responsabilités

Lead planning, execution and delivery of multiple Healthcare IT projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and communication.
Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, success metrics and deliverables.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to maintain momentum and confidence.
Estimate and manage resources to achieve milestones within scope and schedule.
Provide clear, timely communication to sponsors through dashboards, reports and presentations.
Oversee vendor performance and contracts to align with project goals and service expectations.
Resolve conflicts and address challenges through collaboration and negotiation.
Manage scope changes and contingency plans as needed.
Contribute to PMO process improvements and tooling.
