Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ is seeking an IT Applications Analyst to enhance, support, and maintain healthcare IT systems. You will document business needs, develop solutions, and work with Informatics to model builds, ensuring data integrity and security.

You will lead design, testing, and implementation efforts, participate in vendor updates, and provide education sessions while adhering to HIPAA policies and Cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Healthcare IT or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, MS Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Expertise and certification in multiple IT applications; Epic certification if required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze workflow requirements to design, configure, test and implement IT applications while creating and maintaining all documentation for assigned applications.
• Provides day-to-day support including error management and troubleshooting of IT systems.
• Maintains working knowledge and documentation of business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitates effective customer engagement through regular meetings and IT initiatives.
• Develops design specifications and builds application components based on customer needs.
• Collaborates with Virtua IT and business operations to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Tests disaster recovery plans and ensures system performance under thresholds.
