Job summary

Virtua Health System seeks an IT Applications Specialist to enhance, support, and maintain clinical and enterprise applications. You will document business needs, implement new functionality, and coordinate vendor upgrades while ensuring data integrity and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Healthcare IT or related field.
Business, Revenue Cycle, Financial or clinical specialty experience is highly preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare business, information flows and emerging technologies.
Experience leading and overseeing projects and upgrades preferred.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Teams, PowerPoint) and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze workflow/system requirements to design, configure, test and implement IT application solutions.
Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for multiple IT applications.
Maintain documentation of business processes, workflows and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate customer engagement through meetings, rounds, and IT initiatives.
Lead system build, configuration, and testing events with detailed test plans.
Collaborate with vendors and IT partners to ensure ongoing service and issue resolution.
