Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Senior Training & Instructional Design Specialist to design, develop, and deliver education and training programs that build competencies and improve performance across departments. The role leads instructional design for customized courses and facilitates sessions in enterprise-wide settings, reporting to the department Director.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in HR/training, and experience with e-learning tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in HR/training or related field.
• Healthcare experience preferred; leadership programs helpful.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
• Design and deliver programs in instructor-led, online, and hybrid formats.
• Develop supporting resources (job aids, guides, scripts).
• Evaluate training outcomes and update content based on feedback.
• Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions and mentor instructors.
