Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System in Miami seeks a Finance Leader to work with PSA leadership, the employed physician group, and the Finance teams. You will perform financial functions, conduct analyses, prepare reports, budgeting, and clinical operations analysis for the employed physicians, serving as lead for the team.

The role requires a master’s in accounting or finance and 5–7 years in finance or hospital accounting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5–7 years of finance, hospital accounting, or similar experience required.
• Experience with physician enterprise accounting and financial statement preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data and statistics to identify trends and variances in physician productivity and compensation.
• Provides analysis to support PSA’s strategic planning, growth, and development.
• Leads preparation of accurate financial and/or statistical reports for internal and external use.
• Supports department Directors, Managers, and Service Line Administrators with data and systems reviews.
• Assists clinical practices with financial, operational, and management reporting.
• Develops operational strategic analyses to support clinical operations and prioritizes requests for financial analysis.
• Coordinates with physician services and Finance on business issues and best practices.
