Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Operations Manager for the NCPS-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES group in Florida. This role oversees daily medical practice operations, revenue cycle activities, and budgeting alignment with market models.

You will lead administrative and clinical workflows, coach staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvements across patient flow, scheduling, and customer service while partnering with physicians and medical directors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a medical practice setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care, or related field preferred.
• CMPE, FACHE, FACMPE or related certifications.
• Experience with health care payors and pediatric medicine.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue cycle, billing, and collections processes to maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with leaders on vendor management and budgeting.
• Improve operational efficiency and cost containment.
• Manage daily department operations including staffing, patient flow, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HRS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate staff; promote high performance.
• Hire, orient, and develop direct reports.
• Maintain licenses, permits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate special events and community outreach.
