Corewell Health in Michigan seeks a Construction Project Manager to coordinate planning, design, construction, and closeout of complex healthcare projects, typically budgets over $500,000. You’ll secure resources, review drawings, and support budget development and scheduling with the design team and client.

You will lead cost packages, change orders, contract administration with external contractors, and ensure regulatory submittals and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design, Engineering, Construction Management, related field or equivalent education and experience
• 5 years of relevant experience or more years of construction project management experience
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan

Responsabilités

• Coordinates all phases of a construction project including scheduling, planning, design construction, owners fit-out and regulatory interaction with participation of the design team and customer.
• Assists with the development of preliminary construction project budgets based on a space program, and detailed cost bid packages based on construction drawings. Prices out and implements change orders.
• Develops work plans to include a project schedule using project management software; directs and monitors the project related work of all facilities planning/design/construction team members and outside contractors; conducts pre-construction, progress, move and post construction meetings; coordinates record keeping and regulatory submittals/approvals.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends, developments, and applicable regulatory codes and system standards; maintains peer relationships; demonstrates knowledge of hospital safety and infection control policies and procedures.
• Performs such assignments as directed; ensures stakeholders are treated with kindness and respect; supports Corewell Health's mission and coordinates inspections for occupancy approvals.
