Job summary

Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Facilities Services initiatives from initiation to closing. You will ensure projects stay within budget and schedule, while meeting regulatory requirements, acting as a liaison among clients, consultants, contractors, and agencies.

You will build project teams, manage risks, document processes, and oversee coordination among project engineers, managers, IT, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead project intake, define objectives and scope, and develop schedules.
• Provide leadership and direction in client engagement and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with management on policies, planning, and resource planning.
• Lead large strategic cross-functional programs for executives and teams.
• Oversee project design, align business objectives with client needs.
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and coordinators in design, development, and execution.
• Mentor other project managers and coordinators.
• Develop relationships with project owners, operations leaders, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Balance internal and external stakeholder interests to align outcomes.
• Manage milestones, deadlines, and reporting; ensure on-time completion.
• Define scope, duration, resources, and cost; conduct project kick-off.
