Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Project Engineer to lead construction projects within our state-of-the-art facilities. You will coordinate with construction managers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering background, 2+ years of related experience, and familiarity with healthcare regulations. PMP or CAPM is a plus and knowledge of CAD/CAFM is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a work-related field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management).
  • Two (2) or more years of related experience in construction, design or construction management.

Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly with all parties involved to track status of construction projects.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and distribute minutes.
  • Scan, distribute, and file documents including designs, drawings, specs, estimates, and correspondence.
  • Verify and correct project-related documentation; ensure organized systems.
  • Maintain effective communications with management teams and stakeholders.
  • Review pay applications, change orders, and other construction documents.
  • Support project engineering and project management duties as needed.
