Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7 years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or engineering in regulated environments.
• 3 years healthcare facilities management or comparable industry.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and manage multi-million dollar budgets.
• Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal communications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and budgeting systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and demonstrates understanding of client needs and supports Facilities to minimize organizational risk.
• Provides knowledge-based support to drive compliance, service levels, and financial responsibility for service levels.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with key departmental representatives and area managers.
• Provides direct support to hospital through interaction with Hospital Administration and Facilities staff.
• Conducts regular evaluations of clinical areas and support departments to ensure client needs are met.
• Monitors condition of buildings related to safety and efficiency across systems and grounds.
• Ensures compliance with state/local codes, regulatory site visits, and insurance requirements.
• Collaborates with Managing Director and Directors to plan future development of facilities and systems.
• Participates in planning equipment and system retrofits or additions with internal or external teams.
• Responsible for readiness and maintenance of life safety systems (fire alarms, generators, etc.).
• Supports Work Order/Preventive Maintenance systems to optimize facilities management.
