Job summary

Arup is seeking a Healthcare Electrical Engineering Leader based in San Francisco to guide the West Geography healthcare business. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee major projects, and mentor future leaders while aligning with Arup's mission of shaping a better world.

You will drive business development, represent Arup externally with healthcare clients, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, compliant electrical designs across complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Minimum 8 years leading multidisciplinary healthcare projects.
• Experience with Central Plant Design and Acute Care Renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Represent Arup externally with healthcare clients and industry partners.
• Lead delivery of complex multidisciplinary healthcare projects across the West.
• Own project delivery from concept through completion with scope, schedule, budget and risk oversight.
• Provide technical leadership with code‑compliant electrical designs and QA/QC.
• Identify staffing needs and mentor technical talent; lead recruitment and career development.
• Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development strategies.
