Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center seeks a Senior Project Manager for Design and Construction: Planning. This role interfaces with owners, engineers, architects and contractors to deliver complex renovation, addition or new build projects in healthcare settings.

The candidate should hold a B.A./B.S. in a related field and at least 6 years of healthcare design/construction experience, with ASHE/CHD credentials preferred. Hybrid work arrangement offered with 40-hour work week and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in Health Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Management, Civil Engineering or related field with 6 years of healthcare design/construction experience.
• The Center for Health Design or ASHE credentials preferred.
• Experience leading project teams and managing scope, budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Leads project teams; mentors and coaches project managers.
• Develops and monitors scope, budget and schedule for complex projects.
• Interfaces with executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Applies design and construction management best practices and standards.
