Job summary

Surescripts is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design data-driven healthcare analytics, collaborating across business, product, and engineering teams to turn complex data into actionable insights. You will build advanced visuals, AI-enhanced planning, and scalable workflows that support decision-making across the organization.

You will mentor others, stay current with trends in privacy-preserving AI, and help translate statistical results into clear recommendations for executives and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, data management and/or applying data analysis in a business context.
• 2+ years of experience with large healthcare transactional datasets / reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Use AI assistants to accelerate requirements clarification, design, and artifacts (design docs, user stories, test plans).
• Draft code/queries/notebooks/pipelines with AI coding assistants and perform human review for security and quality.
