Surescripts LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist - Healthcare Data to develop and implement data-driven solutions across business functions, leveraging AI and advanced analytics in a Google Cloud environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex healthcare data, design insights, and drive strategic decisions, with a focus on responsible AI workflows and data governance.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mathematics, CS, Statistics or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years in data science in a business context
2+ years handling large healthcare datasets
Proficiency in programming for analysis (R, Python, MATLAB)
Experience translating analytics into business impact
Knowledge of HIPAA/privacy requirements

Responsibilities

Data Visualization: create compelling visuals for stakeholders.
Collaboration: work with leaders, product managers, data scientists, and engineers.
AI-Assisted Planning & Design: use AI to accelerate requirements and design artifacts.
AI-Assisted Implementation: draft code/queries/notebooks/pipelines with human review.
QA Oversight: define acceptance criteria and validation methods.
AI-Teaming & Refinement: refine solutions with prompts and evaluation rubrics.
Mentorship: guide other data scientists and analysts.
Continuous Learning: stay updated on analytics trends.
Evangelism: promote data science capabilities internally.
Data quality and privacy: ensure data integrity and compliance.
