Surescripts is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and troubleshoot high-volume applications in an Agile environment. You will collaborate with architects, customers, product partners, and other engineers to build scalable solutions that process millions of transactions daily and serve hundreds of thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Fluent in multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, Groovy, Scala, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Experience with tools and platforms for building, testing, deploying, and monitoring software systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, and delivery workflows.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, communicate clearly, and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and troubleshooting of software applications in an Agile/DevOps environment.
• Provide technical leadership across the software lifecycle for epics, projects, and features.
• Lead design and code reviews, establish automated testing, and monitor production systems.
• Promote quality practices and improve release confidence through testing and feedback loops.
• Share knowledge on development, testing, security, data privacy, observability, and Agile best practices.
