Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data & Cloud Transformation lead in St. Louis, MO. This senior architect/associate director role partners with healthcare payer clients to shape modernization and digital transformation strategies across cloud, data, and analytics.

You will define enterprise technology roadmaps, lead modernization programs, mentor large teams, and engage executives to drive innovative data platforms using AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and related cloud services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Data, Analytics, Cloud, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Healthcare payer domain expertise including Claims, Membership, Provider, Care Management, Population Health, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Hands-on with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks; exposure to Azure and GCP.
• Proven experience designing modern Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse solutions.
• Strong consulting/advisory skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience developing strategic technology vision, architecture blueprints, and transformation roadmaps.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale programs and high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership on cloud, data, analytics, and technology transformation strategies.
• Define and drive enterprise technology roadmaps aligned to business goals.
• Lead architecture and modernization initiatives involving cloud, data, and analytics platforms.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvements.
• Provide thought leadership on industry trends, emerging technologies, AI, cloud, and data modernization.
• Mentor architecture and engineering teams while ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and best practices.
