Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data & Cloud Transformation lead in St. Louis, MO. This senior architect/associate director role partners with healthcare payer clients to shape modernization and digital transformation strategies across cloud, data, and analytics.

You will define enterprise technology roadmaps, lead modernization programs, mentor large teams, and engage executives to drive innovative data platforms using AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and related cloud services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Data, Analytics, Cloud, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Healthcare payer domain expertise including Claims, Membership, Provider, Care Management, Population Health, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Hands-on with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks; exposure to Azure and GCP.
• Proven experience designing modern Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse solutions.
• Strong consulting/advisory skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience developing strategic technology vision, architecture blueprints, and transformation roadmaps.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale programs and high-performing teams.

About the Role

This role requires a strategic technology leader with deep healthcare expertise, strong cloud and data architecture capabilities, and the ability to engage with client executives to shape modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

• Relevant AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or Cloud Architecture certifications.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $165,000- $170,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
