Job summary
Koantek seeks a Senior Solutions Architect with deep expertise in enterprise data architecture and cloud modernization. You will independently lead complex customer engagements, bridging hands-on data engineering with strategic technical leadership to migrate legacy healthcare estates into modern cloud Lakehouses.
You will drive architecture and migration from Teradata to Databricks, design Terraform-based cloud environments, optimize Spark workloads, and enforce HIPAA/PHI governance using Unity
Qualifications
- 15+ years in data engineering, enterprise architecture, and major cloud migrations.
- Hands-on history migrating legacy Teradata estates, BTEQ scripts, and enterprise warehouses.
- Proven ability to lead engagements with minimal oversight and drive architecture decisions.
Responsibilities
- Customer Leadership: Lead engagements from discovery to delivery with ownership for enterprise healthcare accounts.
- Architecture & Migration: Architect and migrate legacy Teradata environments to Databricks workloads.
- Infrastructure as Code: Design and implement Terraform-based cloud environments for reproducible infrastructure.
- Spark & Optimization: Tune and optimize large-scale Spark workloads and SQL jobs.
- Healthcare Governance: Ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance with Unity Catalog access controls.
- Proactive Delivery: Conduct PoCs and architecture workshops to demonstrate vision.
