Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks an Architecture Senior Advisor in St. Louis, MO to design and implement major data architecture components for Reporting & Analytics. You will work with stakeholders to design scalable data models and data flows using AWS services like Redshift and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities include mentoring, performance optimization, and collaborating within a Scaled Agile environment to deliver data solutions and dashboards for analytics needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; 5 years of experience.
• Experience with data profiling/analysis and creating data architecture frameworks and governance models.
• Create logical/physical data models from business requirements and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement major data architecture components and domains.
• Review and optimize data models for large scale Enterprise Data Warehouses.
• Collaborate with data owners, stakeholders, and analysts to define reporting end state.
• Build data flows and conceptual data models with development teams.
• Serve as SME in data architecture and database design using AWS Redshift and PostgreSQL.
• Query and program with SQL and Spark to support analytics needs.
• Mentor junior developers on query design and performance optimization.
• Develop logical and physical data models and publish a data access layer for reporting.
• Support standards across all cycles of visual product development (requirements to maintenance).
• Collaborate with product owners and scrum teams in Scaled Agile framework.
