Job summary

Datafied is seeking a Senior Solution Architect with deep AWS expertise to lead the design and delivery of enterprise cloud solutions in the United States. You will architect scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms and mentor engineering teams.

You will work with stakeholders to shape cloud strategy, evaluate new AWS services, and guide IaC and CI/CD practices to ensure HIPAA/HITRUST-aligned data protection in healthcare contexts.

Qualifications

• US located and authorized to work (without sponsorship).
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise solution design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Glue.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, event-driven systems, microservices, and serverless computing.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or similar tools.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (or Associate with significant enterprise experience).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead discussions at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end cloud solutions using AWS for enterprise-grade applications with high availability and security.
• Lead design and development using EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Glue.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Drive best practices in IaC, CI/CD, and automation.
• Ensure HIPAA/HITRUST and U.S. Healthcare data compliance.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve delivery and reliability.
